We have a handful of weeks left to enjoy Aspen's summer. If you are looking for a great day activity, I highly recommend a ride up the Aspen Silver Queen Gondola.
If you have your pick of days on Sunday they have two more weeks of live Bluegrass music on the sundeck. All ages will find activities at the top of Aspen Mountain with an incredible kid-friendly zone with huts, swings, slides, a sandbox, and games for the little ones. You will also find food and drinks and great opportunities for day hikes as well as seasonal yoga. The views will keep you mesmerized and the different options for all your family members will make everyone leave with a smile for the descent down if you choose a more physical option you can always take the trek up the mountain which takes around 1-2 hours depending on your pace. The gondola runs daily from 10 am to 4 pm through Sept 3rd and will run weekends into the fall.
Leashed dogs are allowed on the Silver Queen Gondola and hiking trails on Aspen Mountain.
