Hello again, neighbors! As we move into the summer of 2024, it's time for an update on the real estate market in our beautiful towns. The market has been dynamic, and I've prepared a detailed overview to help you understand the current trends and what to expect in the coming months.
Relative to the Q1 market report, we are seeing inventory grow in every town except Snowmass Village and Basalt. While gross numbers in Aspen remain high due to significant sales, the number of transactions is down. The shift is occurring slowly from a Seller’s market to a Buyer’s market and this summer should unveil what we can expect for the next 18 months. Many off-market deals are still occurring. Average price per square foot has continued to increase in every town albeit at a slower rate than last year.
